Bancal Port is the most convenient jump off point to the beautiful Gigantes islands. Everyday, hundreds of travelers flock to this port, which is why local Carleseños believe in the importance of preserving the beauty and cleanliness of Bancal Port.

Last October 3, 2019, Solina Beach and Nature Resort staff, with the help of the local tourism office of Carles, organized and participated in a clean-up drive of Bancal Port.

As the first large-scale resort in Carles, Solina recognizes its role in promoting sustainable tourism practices in our community. During the event, employees of all ranks joined forces in picking up plastic and debris. Even under the heat of the sun, the staff were all smiles during the event.

This Clean-Up Drive is in line with the Solina Care Program launched by our HR Department to promote care for the environment and for the community amongst the Solina staff.
